Screentest: The National Student Film Festival is dedicated to the exhibition and promotion of aspiring British talent. Founded at Bristol University in 2004 it has become an important platform for student filmmakers in celebrating of the very best in student filmmaking from around the country. In 2011 Screentest made the move to London to enhance its national status and reach both in the film industry and the student population and was met with fantastic response – both record submissions and record attendance.
In 2012 the Festival will be returning to London South Bank University over the weekend 23rd – 25th March.
As in previous years, we will be holding a number of workshops and talks with industry professionals and naturally, an insanely large amount of top quality student films will be on show! All of this with an unparalleled opportunity to network with other hard working, passionate student filmmakers, professional filmmakers and organisations and a chance to have your film considered for The National Student Film Awards.
