The Judges

Below are the judges for Screentest 2010. This year we changed the way we judge the films as previously it was only the Grand Jury Award (or Best Film) which was judged by a small panel of about 5 judges. This year we decided that we wanted all of the Awards to be judged by a much larger panel of judges. We also wanted all of the films, screened at the festival, to be judged by our judges in order for more of the student submissions to undergo critique. The 2010 judging panel is made up of approximately 50% industry professionals from organisations such as Working Title, the London Film Academy and Shorts International and 50% younger filmmakers, some of which are still students and others have experienced previous success at some of the earlier Screentest festivals. This was decision was made to involve more people in the festival to reflect its national character.
