David works primarily as a Sound Recordist and around the world, and in recent years, has increased his involvement in sound design. Credited as both Brookfield and Bekkevold, his award-winning film portfolio includes Esther May-Campbell’s Bafta-winning Short September, RONG’s Le Cheval 2.1 and Oedipus, as well as Omni’s Indians and Overdose Notes, for which he shared the prestigious IVCA Gold Award 2007 for Best Sound.
In Television, his transmission credits include Skins for E4, BBC’s Casualty and Digital Shorts got ITV West.
