Welcome to the official website of Screentest: The UK’s National Student Film Festival. Created in 2004 as a platform to showcase student filmmaking talent from around the UK.

Screentest provides the opportunity for students from across the country to screen their work in a friendly atmosphere, meet other student filmmakers and learn more about the industry from professionals hoping to impart some of their knowledge through Q & A sessions, talks and workshops.

Film Your Own Paranormal Activity!

To celebrate the release of the already phenomenally successful Paranormal Activity, now in cinemas nationwide, we are offering all movie buffs the chance to write, edit and direct their own short film of ghostly paranormal activity to feature on what will no doubt be one of the biggest selling DVDs and Blu-rays of 2010!

Screentest 2010 and NSFA invite you to their Launch Party

Come along to the Kingsdown Wine Vaults in Bristol on the 5th of December 2009 for the Screentest and NSFA launch party. The event promises the opportunity to meet with other aspiring student filmmakers, the committee members of both Screentest and the NSFA, and even some industry professionals. It will be a great opportunity to find out more information about the festival and to share ideas and advice in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

There will also be a screening of some of last year’s successful films.

We hope you can join us to celebrate the official launch of this year’s festival and the NSFA, and hopefully benefit from the opportunity to meet other student film enthusiasts.
